Greetings peeps! If you've been following me on Instagram you know my partner and I moved to Atlanta a year ago and scored a lovely 3 bedroom rental home. We both have full schedules so decorating it has been a slow and steady process but I'm happy to share some updates and a sneak peek of our bedroom featuring finishing touches from AllModern!
The first thing we bought was an area rug which I consider the foundation of the room, secondly the sofa. We lounge hard around here so a super comfy large sofa was a must in a color that wouldn't show every little stain. We chose a chocolate brown sofa which adds warmth to the room. But the living room gallery wall is our biggest accomplishment to date. It's a combination of thrifted baskets and wood masks I acquired during my trip to Ghana years ago.
Reflektion Design is known for African print fabric pillows so I'll definitely be adding more to the sofa looking for just the right patterns but I'll share once ready.
Next is the bedroom. The last mile of decorating a room can be tricky - meaning deciding which way to go with the finishing touches. Luckily, AllModern had everything I needed to complete the room. Here's a sneak peak of the items I chose to finish the room.
